BEACHES

HALF MOON BEACH

As its name indicates the beach is in the shape of a half moon, as per the local residents of the town. Visitors opine that this beach is silent, calm and quiet and shy like a bride. Since the beach is away from the town and people frequently visited it in earlier days the beach got a silent remark. ( I am pointing just history of this beach about 30 years ago) But in recent times the beach has regular visits from tourists worldwide.

This beach is very beautiful, clean, free from pollution, free from crowd and free from dirt. This is a beach suitable for water spot games and swimming, and visitors too prefer this beach of all mostly due to its privacy. Tourists may have to suffer slightly to reach this beach as there is no direct road, but there are few ways easily manage to reach via Om beach. But I suggest you to take assistance from local guide who can make you to reach your destination by short cut roads or may be providing conveyance under unavoidable circumstances.

One more suggestion is pack up your food and drinking water along with you. That does not mean that, no food is available there. The first reason is that your budget may affect your planning.  Secondly, if unfortunately the restaurant is unable to provide dishes or snacks as per your requirements immediately. Because only two or three hotels/resorts are actively serving tourists. However, nowadays resort constructing work is under progress and hence no worries in future.

The half moon beach of Arabian sea is one side covered with coconut trees, jack fruit trees, mango trees and other forest tasty fruits enhancing the beauty of the beach. Advance intimation is a must if you want to stay here. You can reserve your booking with any known person of you or any local agents to avoid inconveniences. Stay and enjoy!

PARADISE BEACH

Paradise beach is one more attractive beach of Arabian sea at Gokarna among all beaches. This beach has few facilities including accommodation, food and water. This is because; this place was unidentified as this place is isolated. You can reach this beach by walk via half moon beach or consult local residents who are happy to serve you honestly. Pack up food and water with you before leaving and have a fun, play, trek rocks and relax till evening. Amazing beach keeps remembering you forever.
